My two kids attended two 3-hour seminar/classes at a local Apple store. One of the classes was "Music Camp" and they used GarageBand to lay down some tracks (loops) and then burn that to a CD. The other class was "Movie Camp" where they used iMovie to build a short video. The great thing is now they're all totally gung-ho on the movie making thing (and they're 8 & 10). They've been shooting all sorts of weird video using the 'movie' feature of their cheapo digi-cams. Sorry for all the branding , but they just had a totally awesome time and I can't believe how creative they're being with all the clips that they've filmed so far. By danielh, 2 years 18 weeks ago |
