free windows firewall
Quest details: Holy crap!!!! So, I meant to search for other quests like this. But since I don't think I can delete it now I figure why not write a description. I'm looking for a really good (and really free!!!) firewall for Windows. I've tried zonealarm already and had some major problems with it. So does anyone know of any other good ones? Thanks for the help

The one best thing you can do if on broadband
Is buy a router! This will stop most things from getting in. I could bore you with technical details, but basically unless you request something from a website, the router won't allow anything to get to your PC.
A firewall is good, but isn't required IF you use a router and pracise 'safe browsing'.
