  1. Azureus

    Not as great at uTorrent, but only by a thin margin. It's still great and handles multiple files well.

    Interesting file sharing application. There are different channels (think rooms), with different members and different content. Some you need to join, some you don't. Neat application.

    This is hugely popular. Not sure if it's for me or not, but it is very well loved and well supported.

  5. Soulseek
    This is an easy to use P2P application. There is a neat option that allows you find other people with similar likes and dislikes (which you can manually enter or choose from a list), and lets you browse their available files. Small and fast, without any fancy interface. It may not be pretty, but it works and works well.

    Probably my favorite Bittorrent application. Easy, fast and flexible.

Clarification

 I think you should break down the Bittorrent clients versus the sharing networks as those why may not know the difference may not understand Bittorrent versus say eMule.

Good point. I'll edit my entries to make the difference more clear. Maybe with a link to a definition of Bit Torrent.  Thanks.
